Know Your Options in Hot Tub Covers
If you already own a hot tub then it most likely came with a hot cover when you bought it. If your hot tub is a molded hot tub, made from a composite material such as a composite bonded with fiberglass then the cover that your hot tub came with is a vinyl hot tub cover.
These work great as a basic function hot tub cover but they do have a few shortcomings. First, while they do function effectively for keeping debris from entering the water they just aren’t that strong. Also, while they do keep the water insulated and warm, they can tend to deteriorate over time if exposed to the sun.
